About

George, as a half-lit portrait glowing like an old monitor

Hi, I'm George. I live in Athens, and I have spent 13+ years in SaaS customer support and customer experience, mostly in the WordPress world. Today I lead customer experience and quality at WP Media.

Support is a strange vantage point. You spend your days at the exact spot where a product meets a real person on a bad afternoon, and you see every gap: the missing setting, the confusing screen, the email thread that asks for a PHP version for the fourth time.

So I started filling those gaps myself, in my own time. A plugin here, a web app there, a private dashboard when I got tired of guessing how many people visit my sites.

What this blog is

Every project I build gets at least one post here. Not a press release. The honest version: why it exists, what I wanted from it, what I got wrong, and what I'd do next.

Some rules I keep

  • People stay in charge. AI drafts and suggests. People decide.
  • Privacy by default. Your data stays yours, and where I can manage it, stays on your device.
  • Free and open where it makes sense. Most of what I build is free, with the source on GitHub.
  • No tracking games. This blog counts visits anonymously and sets no cookies.
